Under Bed Mount Fifth Wheel Rail Kit and Hitch Recommendation for 2011 Ford F-150 5-1/2 ft Bed
Question:
I currently have a 2011 Ford F-150 super crew 5 1/2 ft bed with rails on the bed. I am looking to go to the unde the bed mount system but was inquiring do I need to patch the existing holes in the bed or will the under mount use the same holes. Thanks for your help in this matter.

An underbed mount fifth wheel rail kit will not reuse the same holes in the bed of your truck as a set of above-the-bed rails would have used in your truck. The holes would either need to be patched or left as-is.
Since you have a 5-1/2 foot bed 2011 Ford F-150 the best solution we have is the part # DM8550041 which is a sliding fifth wheel hitch that automatically slides back as you make tight turns and unlike most sliding hitches it actually slides back far enough for how short your truck bed is.
Then for a rail kit the part # DM8551001.
