Question:

I verified with Curt and their Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11383 will fit your 2011 Mazda 3S with dual exhaust. I've attached an install video that won't be exactly the same as yours, because it's single exhaust, but it will give you some idea of the process.
If you're going to be towing and need a wiring harness, the Tekonsha # 118420 will provide a 4-way trailer connector. It plugs into your Mazda's wiring behind both tail lights so there's not any splicing to do. It will then store inside your trunk.
The Curt Drawbar # C45521 will fit the Class I hitch. Then for a hitch ball you can use either # 19258 for a 2 inch or # 19256 for a 1-7/8.
If you ever use the hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier, you will also need to use a stabilization strap like part # 18050.
