I have a 2012 Nissan xterra and was given a hitch without the mounting hardware. can I purchase the hardware kit by itself? I prefer not to use anything but the correct bolts. thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
There is different hardware available for each specific hitch and yes, you can purchase the hardware kit by itself. Since hitch receivers are custom fitted to vehicles, the hardware parts you receive will correlate with each receiver option for your 2012 Nissan Xterra.
The replacement Hardware Kit for Trailer Hitches is # RHK, but you will need to select your hitch item number and manufacturer when ordering to ensure you receive the proper hardware for your hitch. There is a box for you to enter the hitch item number and a drop down box to select the manufacturer just above the add to cart button. We are able to offer replacement parts for Curt, Da'Lan, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, and Reese Trailer Hitches.
Here are some options of the hitch item numbers and the manufacturers for your 2012 Nissan Xterra Hitch Receiver:
If you have the Draw-Tite Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch, the hitch item number is # 75291.
If you have the Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch, the hitch item number is # 13514.
You will find the installation info attached.
