Question:
In the 2007 xterra, the exhaust does not move enough to life the hitch into place. Any recommendations as to how to get the hitch to go in? Thanks

Have you temporarily lowered the exhaust as shown in the instructions? If so, and you cannot get enough clearance, follow the exhaust toward the front of the vehicle, to locate the next exhaust hanger. Making sure the exhaust is supported, remove the next hanger. This should give you additional play in the exhaust and allow you to raise the hitch into place.
