Mounting brackets for items like bull bars are vehicle-specific, just like the bull bars themselves are. You cannot, for example, take a bull bar that fits a Chevrolet vehicle and install it on a Ford vehicle just by using the correct Ford brackets. Both the bar itself and the mounting kit are designed specifically for a particular vehicle.
For example, if you had Westin Ultimate Bull Bar # 32-1695 and owned one of the compatible Nissan vehicles for which it is intended you could use mounting kit # 32-169PK to install it. Since you have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma you cannot install bar # 32-1695 but you can use the linked page to see all such products that do fit your Tacoma.
