Compatibility of 4-Pole and 7-Way Trailer Connectors on 2003 Ford F-150
Question:
Have a 03 f150 supercab fleetside, will installing 7 pin plug part# 118242, will it disable my existing 4 flat connector?

If your existing 4-pole harness is a factory part that plugs in to an OEM connector like those on Tow Ready harness kit # 118242, you can have both harnesses active at the same time by daisy-chaining then together. If you have an aftermarket 4-pole harness that connects to the truck's taillight wiring then again both will still remain active since they connect to the truck independently of one another.
