How B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch Installs into Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch

Question:

Do this goosneck to fifth wheel hitch just plug into my existing goosneck hitch with no additional bolting?

If your truck currently has a B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch, you would indeed place the hitch in the truck bed, and latch the hitch into place. You might need to make some minor adjustments to the strips on the underside of the base that sit in the bed corrugations and adjust the draw-down bolt to get it aligned with the gooseneck hitch latch, but that's all you'd need to do.

If you click the provided link, you can see the installation/assembly instructions for the # BWRVK3400.

@AndrewR According to B&W, a new draw down bolt and socket adjuster will fix that. You can contact them directly and they'll ship those out as a warranty replacement. Or, you can reply with your email address and we'll contact them

I have this setup in my Ram 3500. My question is, why does my draw down bolt loosen? I retorque it before every trip now. I’ve heard this only applies to the slider type and not the non slider. Is there a retro fix for this? The non slider version has some sort of locking bracket on it. Thank you
