Just got strait line 66075 for Ram 2500. 2017 Desert Fox 27FS toy hauler travel trailer on order - 12,000 gvw with 1410 tongue weight. Did I oversize? Will it ride too rough?

The Strait-Line Weight Distribution w Sway Control, part # RP66075 will work great for you. You said your tongue weight is 1,410 lbs. That falls really close to the middle of the range the # RP66075 is rated. That is right where you want to be.

If the 1,410-lbs is the dry tongue weight on your trailer, you will want to be careful you do not overload the system by placing too much cargo behind the rear wheel of your towing vehicle and that you do not overload your trailer. You can rearrange cargo in the trailer to shift some of the tongue weight.

I went out into our warehouse and grabbed a 2-5/16" Hitch Ball #C40085 to measure and found it is from top to bottom 5-3/4 inches tall.
