Class IV 2014 Ram 2500 Quad Cab with Factory Hitch Recommendation
Question:
My 2014 Ram has a factory Class V hitch that I want to replace with a Class IV. I dont want to add the class IV, I prefer to replace. Looks like the 14361 would work. Can you confirm if this is the right choice and if there is anything else I should be aware of. Thanks

The Curt Hitch part # 14361 is designed to fit trucks without the factory hitch. I cannot recommend it for you since your factory hitch is built into the bumper beam which is built differently on the trucks with or without the factory hitch.
It hangs lower and more to the rear of the vehicle for trucks with the factory hitch, and the opposite on vehicles without it. Since I cannot recommend you remove the bumper beam the best option is to go with a hitch like the part # 41929 which will fit trucks with the factory hitch.
