I have a 2014 RAM 3500 crew cab 4x4 longbed. If I purchased the 2.5 extension 45018 and cut it to 41, what would my new max. tongue weight be? Thank you.

I can help you figure out what your new weight ratings would be with the Titan Hitch Box Extension # RP45018.

If you decide to cut the extension to use it as a 41 inch application you will have a towing capacity of 5,000lbs and a weight distribution system towing capacity of 7,500 lbs.
