Actual Length of Titan Hitch Box Extension for 2-1/2 Inch Receivers Part # RP45018

Question:

I want to pull an ATV single axle trailer loaded with 2 ATVfoots and other equipment. The distance from my receiver opening class 5 to the end of my slide-in camper is 48 inches. Will the extender go to 48 inches or is it shorter when installed?? Do you think it would work?? Thanks for your help.

The 48 inch maximum length mentioned in the product description represents the distance from the furthest hitch pin hole on the vehicle side of the extender and the hitch pin hole on the other end.

The distance from the hitch pin hole where the extension would attach to the receiver on your truck to the front face of the receiver on the extension is 50 inches.

I have edited a photo showing what the 48 inch measurement represents.
