I have a hidden hitch on a 2013 Prius V. I plan to replace my vehicle with a 2016 PRIUS V. Will my present hitch and wiring fit on the 2016?

The same Class I trailer hitches that fit the 2013 Toyota Prius V also fit the 2016 model year. Those hitches are shown on the linked page, Curt # C11276 and Draw-Tite # 24847.

You will need to replace your installation hardware since this is intended only for a single use. Hitch mounting hardware cannot be re-used to install the hitch on a new vehicle. We offer replacement hardware kit # RHK. Just click on the link for RHK and enter your hitch part number and manufacturer in the fields provided. Basic tools are required to install it but you'll also need a torque wrench like # ALL944001 to tighten the fasteners to the manufacturer's specs indicated in the linked instructions. I linked a helpful article on hitch installation.

Your 4-pole trailer wiring harness from the 2013 Prius, such as kit # 118610 and # C56156, will also work on the 2016 model year. You'll need new butt connectors to make your connections; use part # DW05745-10.
