Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2013 Ford C-Max
Question:
Is there a version with a 2inch opening, or only the 1.25inch ? Im thinking that the 2inch opening would give me more options when choosing a bike and ski rack, but maybe not. Any help you can provide is appreciated.

For your 2013 Ford C-Max there are only 1-1/4 inch trailer hitches available. 2 inch trailer hitches are reserved for larger vehicles that have higher towing capacities like trucks and SUVs.
The highest capacity hitch available for your vehicle is the Curt hitch part # C12092 that you referenced which has a 350 tongue weight capacity and a 3,500 lb trailer capacity. There still are several bike racks that will fit this style of hitch though.
The most popular bike rack we carry that has been confirmed to fit this vehicle is the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack part # S64670. This rack has a ton of positive reviews from our customers who have tried it. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
However, if you are looking for a way to carry skis and some point you would need to go a different route. For a bike rack you would want a hanging rack like the Thule Hitching Post part # TH934XTR and then a Thule Tram for the skis part # TH9033.
Curt requires the use of their stabilizer strap part # 18050 when using their hitch to carry a non-supported load like a bike rack. I attached a review video for you to check for the strap as well.
