Curt Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2013 Kia Soul Exclaim
Question:
Hello! I just want to be sure that # C111103 will work on my 2013 Kia Soul Exclaim. When I search by vehicle, the results suggest #C11110, which I think is the same thing. Is my understanding correct, that C111103 is the same, with the addition of Standard drawbar, pin and clip? I need to confirm the correct trailer hitch, and add on the T-Connector wiring WITHOUT LED brake lights. Im looking to tow a trailer with hitch dry weight of 300 lbs, and total weight 1840 lbs. So, I think, with the correct trailer hitch and wire connectors, Ill also need a weight distribution system to handle the the hitch weight. Will Curt Weight Distribution - C17345 work for this setup? Thanks for all of the help!

Expert Reply:
For your 2013 Kia Soul Exclaim the Curt hitch part # C11110 has been confirmed as a fit and would work well. You are correct in that the difference between it and the # C11110 is that it comes with a ball mount.
For a hitch ball you would want the part # A-80, for trailer wiring # C56222 and then you would be good to go.
Weight distribution systems can only be installed on vehicles with 2 inch hitches available that are rated for use with a WD system. This hitch cannot use a WD system.
