Trailer Hitch Availability and Fit for 2002 Ford F-350 Super Duty FX4
Question:
I want to make sure the hitch I order will fit my truck properly. How do I know the width is the same if its not listed. My existing hitch is 36inch to the outside of each side. I have a 2002 f350 super duty fx4. I see some hitches are 34inch or 37inch how do I know what to measure then order the correct one?

The correct hitch for your 2002 Ford F-350 Super Duty FX4 will depend on the bumper it has. You can use the linked page to see all options; just use the Select Vehicle Style drop-down menu to choose the type of bumper that is on your truck. Once you select your bumper style the correct hitch options will be shown.
Let's say you have a standard or step bumper. In this case you have choices in Class III, Class IV and Class V hitches from Curt and other brands. For a 2-inch Class III hitch use part # 13355 or for a Class V hitch use part # C15410 for a 2-inch or part # C15810 for a 2-1/2-inch receiver. Some hitches may affect the re-installation of the spare tire. The page will indicate any fit exceptions for the hitches shown. You do not have to measure your frame to select the correct hitch; just match up the truck's features and note the fit information on the hitch page.
All hitches we sell include the required hardware. A helpful article on hitch installation is linked for you.
