The trailer wiring harnesses offered for your 2012 Ford E-250 Van include 4-pole flat and 7-way RV style harnesses that can be seen on the linked page. An equivalent 5-pole harness is not made but we do have adapters that will let you convert your 4-pole to a 5-pole.
Tow Ready 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter # 20036 plugs in to your existing 4-pole harness and includes an additional blue wire and quick-splice connector to allow you to connect to a trailer with a 5-pole connector that has that additional circuit for trailer brakes. You will just need to make the one wiring connection using the additional blue wire and connector.
Your van will need to be equipped with a brake controller like the Prodigy P2 # 90885 to generate the trailer brake signal for the adapter's additional blue wire. Articles on brake controllers are linked for you.
