It sounds like your 1997 Jayco used the old size 20.5 x 8 - 10 tires. With the new tire sizing, that means you will want to use a 205/65-10 tire.

If your trailer weighs approximately 2,400 pounds when it is loaded and ready to tow, I recommend using the Kenda Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire - 205/65-10 - Load Range D # AM1HP54. These Load Range D is rated for a maximum load of 1,330 pounds at 70 psi. The tire fits on 10 inch x 6 inch rims. If you need a new tire and wheel, you can use part # AM3H410.

If your trailer will weigh more than 2,660 pounds when loaded and ready to tow, you will want to use Load Range E tires, like # AM1HP56 for the tire and # AM3H460 for the tire and wheel.
