Frame Brackets and Hardware Needed to Install Reese # RP30051 5th Wheel Hitch on 2011 Dodge Ram 2500
Question:
I purchased a used Reese PT#30051off a friend and would like to install it on my 2011 RAM 2500 diesel SLT short bed truck. It came with bed rails and the slider. My question is what all do I need to install this in my truck?

Since you have the hitch, the slider and the bed rails, you'll need new hardware and the frame mount brackets.
Part # RP50140 will provide the frame brackets and the hardware to attach them to the frame. You'll also need the # RP58430 hardware kit to attach the bed rails to the frame brackets. Even if you still have the old hardware, I'd recommend replacing it because it's not meant to be torqued more than once.
If you don't already have one, you can install a 7-way trailer connector in your truck bed using part # 41157. I've linked you to an install video for the wiring.
