Hitch and 5 Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying 45 lb Bikes
Question:
i have a 2007 Nissan Quest. im looking to get a bike carrier. I have no hitch, so im looking to get one of those installed too. Can you giv eme any advice....where to get a hitch installed? and what bike rack would be best? I looked at a 5-bike carrier, but it said each bike has a 30 lb weight limit. I looked up my bikes, and I think they weigh about 45 lbs. do you have a carrier that would hold 5 bikes weighing 45 lb each?

First let's start with a hitch for your 2007 Nissan Quest. For that you would want the Curt hitch part # C13563 as it has the highest available tongue weight rating of 350 lbs.
The only 5 bike rack we offer that can carry a 45 lb bike is the part # C18065. I attached a review video for you to check out as well.
If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
