Recommended Trailer Jack for 2008 Mastercraft Boat Trailer

Question:

Hello! I have a 2008 Mastercraft boat trailer that carries our X14 boat which has a dry weight of 3,300 lbs. not including fuel as much as 40-gal and relatively light weight vests and watersports equipment. I want freshen the trailer by replacing the winch Fulton XLT1801 and Fulton Jack. The Fulton FW20000301 looks like a nice upgrade for the winch but Im unsure about the jack as there are no numbers other than E07 stamped anywhere on the existing Fulton jack and the label was gone long ago. Can you assist with a recommendation? The trailer has a weld-on bracket for the jack with a single short bolt for attachment. The OD of the tube looks like 2 1/2inch so Im assuming it is a 2 1/4inch tube, and it has a 10inch rise. I just dont know the capacity and the bolt required if not included. It looks similar to the FXP15W although the wheel doesnt have open spokes. I would rather go overkill on capacity than not have enough. Can you assist? Thank you!

Sounds like you have a great plan in place to freshen up your 2008 Mastercraft boat trailer.

The Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed Trailer Winch, # FW20000301, that you mentioned is a great option and receives very favorable customer reviews.

As for the jack, as long as your existing Fulton jack pivots on a single bolt, you could use the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack, # FXP15W, as a replacement. This jack has a lift capacity of 1,500 lbs so it should work great for your trailer. If your current mounting bolt needs to be replaced, Replacement Hardware Kit for Fulton Swivel Jack, # F0933325S00, is what you will need.

I have attached a few videos for you.
