Helper Springs for a 2014 Ford F-150 with Full Truck Bed and towing 7,000 Pound Trailer

Question:

I have a 2014 F150 with a 6.5foot bed. I always have tools fully loaded in a bed storage system and also haul a 7,000# deckover trailer loaded fully with material. My truck squats bad. Steering is great affected. Is the 7k what I want of the 6k?

Expert Reply:

Even with the bed on your 2014 Ford F-150 loaded and towing a 7,000 pound trailer the weight on the actual rear axle of the truck is still well under 6,000 pounds so going with the 6K rated Timbren springs, # TFR1504D for 4x4s or # TFR1502D for 2-wheel drive models will work well.

The 7K kits are designed for severe service vehicles only.
