Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2012 Acura MDX

I am interested in a recommendation for a weight distribution hitch with sway control. Trailer weight in the towing condition will be about 4750 and the tongue weight is approximately 650lbs. The tow vehicle is a 2012 Acura MDX. I am interested in a hitch that allows backing up. Thank you, John Ward

I recommend the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System with Sway Control # RP66083. This system will allow you to back up while connected. The max tongue weight for the system is 800 pounds and the max towing weight is 18,000 pounds. The sway control on this system is designed to stop sway before it starts, and is the only system on the market to do so. The trunnion bars allow for greater ground clearance than round bars.

The weight distribution system doesn't come with a hitch ball. If you need a 2 inch diameter ball, I recommend part # A-90. If you need a ball with a 2-5/16 inch diameter, I suggest # 19286.
