2015 Rockwood Freedom 1980 Roof Rack Recommendation

Hi There, Do you know if the SR1020 works with my Rockwood Freedom 1980? Do I need to use the black padding or can I install it directly to the edge of the frame, the frame width is 1 inch and the width of the trailer is 85 inches.

The SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020 would work great on a Rockwood Freedom camper like yours. I would recommend using the black padding since that is the weather seal that will prevent water from entering at the installation point.

Based on your dimensions the 83 length setting would be what you would want.

No it is not, to install this SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack #SR1020 you need to drill 1/8 inch holes through the exterior of your camper, and then use the self tapping screws to hole the rack to the camper.
