Do Holes Need to Be Drilled Into the Interior of Camper to Install SportRack Ladder Racks # SR1020

To install this pop-up camper rack on top of my camper, is it necessary to drill the holes all the way through the roof into the interior of the camper? Thank you,

No it is not, to install this SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020 you need to drill 1/8 inch holes through the exterior of your camper, and then use the self tapping screws to hole the rack to the camper.
