Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2021 R-Pod 195

Question:

I have a 2016 Nissan crew cab SV. I am purchasing a 2021 Rpod 195. It has a dry weight of 3600 lbs but can carry 1161 in cargo. I would not trailer with tanks filled any distance and even if I did with r this camper getting to full capacity. I like the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 4,500 lbs GTW, 450 lbs TW - FA92-00-0450 hitch but wondering if I need to 6k for this trailer considering I am over the total “ possible” weight by 261 pounds. What is your recommendation.

Based on the weight of your 2021 R-Pod 195 the Fastway e2 part # FA92-00-0450 would be rated too low and wouldn't be effective. You would need to go about the higher rated # FA92-00-0600 which is rated for 250-600 lbs. Your loaded and unloaded tongue weight would fall within it's range so it would work great either way.
