Hitch and Motorcycle Carrier Recommendation for a 2007 Ford Edge
Question:
I need to get a hitch and carrier for a 230 lb dirt bike what do you suggest?

Helpful Expert Reply:
For a hitch for your 2007 Ford Edge you would want the Draw Tite hitch part # 75992. This hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 400 lbs.
Then for a motorcycle carrier you would want the etrailer Motorcycle Carrier part # e98873. This carrier has a capacity of 500 lbs and only weighs about 58 lbs so you would have plenty of capacity left over for the weight of your motorcycle.
You will want to check the owners manual of your vehicle to determine its tongue weight capacity and be sure not to exceed this figure.
