No Power on Trailer Wiring Harness Green Wire on a 2015 Acura RDX
Question:
I installed this part that i purchased from you on my Acura 2015 RDX. Unfortunately it does not work on a passenger site. No turn signal, no break signal, nothing. At the same time, it works fine on the driver site of the trailer. I check the trailer wiring and it is fine. There is no voltage coming out of the converter box for green wire. I hook the same trailer to a second car i have and everything works fine. Thus, I believe it is nit the trailer problem. Could the converter box be defective?

To properly test a converter box, you will first need to test the wires going into the converter box from the vehicle using a circuit tester such as # PTW2993. If there is no power on the green input wire, then the issue is with the vehicle. Your 2015 Acura RDX may require an additional fuse or relay to make everything fully functional. It looks like under the hood there is a fuse in location 26 that the owner's manual just calls trailer.
If there is power on the input wires when there is supposed to be but not on the output side at the 4-Way, then that does indicate a problem inside the converter box and the harness will have to be replaced. I recommend going with # 118569.
