Pole Tongue Adapter for Boat Trailer so that Weight Distribution Can Be Used

Question:

I have a magic tilt 27 FT Boat Trailer Gross Weight of trailer is 9300 LBS. I went to a Scale yesterday an Boat and Trailer weighed 7500 LBS and with Full Fuel, ICE, and Gear I am assuming about 8500 LBS. I have a Ford Expidition with a Gross Weight of 15,000 and I am around 14,000 so I am ok there. It has a 5 Pin connector and a Large Brake Box on the toung of Trailer and Disc Brakes. The Truck manual calls for Weight Distribution over 6000 LBS. I have a Class IV hitch with 2 5/16 Ball and Reeses WD Round bar with built in Sway control for my Travel Trailer. I was hoping I might be able to leverage my existing WD Setup by adding a Reese Boat Trailer Adapter on the Toung, but it seams like the saddles would need to be back to far due to the Brake box and hydrolic hose. Do they sell longer round bars to allow the setup to be installed a couple of inches further back on the Trailer Toung?

The adapter that you would need would be the pole tongue adapter part # RP58393 to be able to use a weight distribution system with your setup. Since your vehicle requires the use of a WD system to tow a trailer as heavy as yours the only option I can make for you would be to relocate the items on your trailer frame that are currently in the way as they do not make longer spring bar weight distribution systems. They are all right at 30 inches in length.
