Hitch Extension Recommendation for 2-1/2 inch Hitch Using 2 inch Weight Distribution Hitch
Question:
I have a 2011 Silverado 3500 HD with a 21/2 in hitch reduced down to 2In I need to extend it out to be able to put my tailgate down. I pull a 6000+ camper trailer.

We have the Curt hitch extender part # C45048 which fits a 2-1/2 inch hitch like you have and provides a 2 inch hitch opening, can be used with weight distribution like you have, and can be 34 or 24 inches long.
