Availability of Replacement 2.80-12 Tires for 2007 Fleetwood Yuma Camper
Question:
I am picking up a used 2007 Fleetwood Yuma camper in a few days. The tires may need replacement I have not seen the camper yet. The seller says the tires are inch 5.8 x 12 . Can a trailer tire/wheel be cross-referenced to fit? 5.8 x 12 seems very hard to find. Thanks!

Are you sure your seller is correct about the tire size? We don't carry a 5.8-12 tire size, so I looked online in order to cross reference to a modern tire size and wasn't able to find any information about a 5.8-12 tire. If the sidewalls of the existing tires are scuffed or weathered, it would be VERY easy to misread the tire size.
I suspect the trailer actually has a 5.30-12 tire size, which we do indeed carry. If you click the provided link, you can see the tire only and wheel/tire combos we offer in that size. The page has filters that would allow you to choose either 4 on 4 or 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. The FAQ I've linked you to will show how to determine the wheel bolt pattern. You'll also need to choose tires whose combined load rating exceeds the fully loaded and ready to tow weight of the trailer.
For instance, part # AM30859 is a 5.30-12 tire on a white 8-spoke wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. The tire has a D load rating, with a capacity of 1250 lbs at 105 psi (per tire). For a 4 on 4 bolt pattern, 8 spoke white painted wheel, part # AM30780 is a 5.30-12 tire with a C load rating, with a capacity of 1045 lbs at 80 psi.
