Will Curt Q24 Fifth Wheel Hitch Work With Curt X-5 Adapter
Question:
Will the curt X5 work with the curt Q24 5th wheel hitch, I relize it is over the weight rating I would like to buy the Q24 to just have the ability of height adjustment not the weight rating. Thanks

The Curt X-5 Fifth Wheel Adapter, part # 16310 is designed to fit B And W Square Shank Turnover Ball Hitches. If you have the B And W installed in your vehicle, the X5 will work well for you. The weight capacity of this adapter is 20,000 lbs.
If you have the Curt Double-Lock, Flip and Store gooseneck hitch, you would use the Curt X-5 Adapter, part # C16210. If you have a Curt EZr Double-Lock gooseneck hitch, the adapter you need is part # C16220.
The Curt Q24 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # C16245, will work with industry-standard above bed rails. This will work with the X-5 rails. Any time you are towing you must use the lowest rated component when considering towing capacity.
