Hitch Receiver Recommendation for 2014 Volkswagen Jetta GLI
Question:
I am looking for a rec hitch that will work for the 2014 Jetta GLI. I wasn't sure if the normal Jetta one will work. Can you advise ? Thanks

Yes, the receiver hitches that were designed for the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta will also work for the GLI model.
the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11474, because the install is slightly easier. It's custom design offers bolt-on installation with no drilling or welding required.
If you are wanting to tow, all that is left is the ball mount, Wiring Harness, # 119250KIT, and Hitch Ball # 19256 for 1-7/8", # 19258 for 2", and you'll be set and ready to tow.
I have included videos of both hitches being installed on a 2013 Jetta for you to take a look at.
