2019 Ford Transit T250
The people at emailed are outstanding. We purchased the wrong hitch, returning it and getting the correct one was painless, the folks there are kind and helpful. 2017 Ford Transit T350
I bought this hitch for a 2017 Ford Transit 350 Forrest River RV even though it was not recommended by e-trailer. The other options were several hundred dollars more so I thought I would give it a try. There were two issues that I had to overcome. First, the receiver was not low enough to clear the bumper. I dry fitted it the best I could and marked out a small area of the fiberglass bumper that needed to be cut out (about 2.5 x 0.75 in). It then fit perfectly. Second, the pre drilled holes did not line up and I had to drill 4 holes in the frame. All told, it took about an hour with my wife’s help (she started the nuts on the bolts while I held the hitch in place. To me, it was well worth it to save the extra dollars. Also, the hitch arrived several days earlier than promised.

2015 Ford Transit T350
Easy install for a novice. All I needed was to borrow a torque wrench from my brother. Helpful tips in instruction sheet and on website question section answered by experts. Package was delivered as promised. All parts were included with simple to follow instructions. Was a 2 person job and took less than 45 minutes. Fit perfectly. No issues. Fit and finish is great and looks great under the bumper.

This hitch is very well made, easy to install but potentially one major problem depending on what you want to use it for. The face of the receiver is recessed about two inches from the face of the bumper. For most trailers this is no problem but if you will be using hitch mounted accessories such as a bike rack with a swing away arm, it may not fit as the accessory will hit the bumper before it is completely inserted into the hitch. Be aware! Photos are of a factory Ford hitch (proud of bumper about 1/4" and the etrailer hitch recessed significantly).

When the hitch is recessed under the bumper you will want to measure the distance needed to clear the bumper. We do have a FAQ article about how to measure for a cargo carrier however it can apply to any hitch accessory.

2015 Jeep Cherokee
There are welded nuts on the frame. I used a tap to clean the threads, there was road dirt, which may have made self tapping difficult. Very easy to understand and accomplish. Delivered free in 3 days.
I saw plenty of pictures of 2015 Transit, before purchasing. Mine wouldn't add any clarity.
I ordered, at the same time, a hitch and wiring for my 2015 Cherokee. Order is waiting for wiring harness. :-(

Professional grade hitch that I could readily install myself at home. I just had to buy a steel tap set to prep the holes on my Transit's frame and it was good to go! The instructions were very helpful. I have a Honda 9k inverter generator mounted on a stand that a local welder built off of this last year and it's been holding up great!!

2019 Ford Transit Connect
This is the second hitch I’ve purchased from etrailer. I installed this one on my 2019 Ford Transit van. The installation was as expected and the fit was perfect. It is quite heavy so two people are needed. The hardest part was installing the four self tapping bolts that were included but they worked well and the hitch is very secure.

Very well made in the USA. Weld look great. Shipping was fast and glad they used UPS as well. The one bolt right above the exhaust pipe was a little bit of a PIA to get the torque wrench on but not etrailers fault. Very impressed I just finished installing it. Can’t wait to hook something up and tow now.

Very good quality hitch. Fit perfect on my Transit van. I opted to used a thread dye to thread the factory holes instead of the included self tapping bolts. Made the install much easier. The self tapping bolds secured the hitch fine.
