Hi everybody, my name is Andy with etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at Water Dragon's Underwater White LED Light. If you are looking to add LED lights to your boat or maybe replace some lights on your boat, this light might be a good option for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at this light. Now, this LED underwater light, as you can see, has three diodes, and it's gonna provide a bright white light for your boat, could help you see around your boat, in the water, or maybe even help you back up, this is gonna provide a nice white light for situations such as that. Now, let me give you a brief demonstration here of what this looks like lit up. I do have it hooked up to some power here, just to kinda give you an idea of just how bright this is.

So of course, you can see, this is what it looks like with my overhead lights on. I'm gonna go ahead and turn my lights off here on the studio. And again, just a nice bright light. Let me zoom out here a little bit just to show you what it looks like here in my studio, up against my wall here. These LEDs are gonna be very energy efficient more so than incandescent lights, they're gonna last longer than incandescent bulbs, and they're going to be vibration resistant, they're gonna last you a good long time.

Now, the output on this light is gonna be 375 lumens. Again, with my overhead lights, you can see just how bright that is. Go ahead and turn the power off here. And the LEDs themselves are sealed in a waterproof housing. So this is going to be a black plastic housing, again, durable, very sturdy and strong, and then the lens that is over the diodes, the lens itself is gonna be shatter resistant, and it's going to really hold up well against any impacts.

Now, the circuit board inside is made of a military grade construction, so that just adds to the durability of this light, and the urethane potting inside is going to offer you better protection than the common epoxy potting in controlling the heat transfer inside of this light. Not only do you have that feature helping with the heat transfer, but this does have thermal protection, safeguards against overheating, so these LED lights can get warm to the touch when you have them on for extended periods of time, but with the safety features of this light, you're not gonna have to worry about it overheating. Again, a very durable plastic housing. This is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. As you can see, this is a surface mount installation, this does not include the hardware, so you would have to supply that for yourself locally.

And this is a hard-wire installation, two wires, and the white wire will be your power, and the black wire will be your ground. Let me give you some overall dimensions here. The overall length of this light is gonna be sitting right at about 3 7/8 inches long, the overall width, trying to get it right here at the widest point, we're gonna be sitting right at about 1 3/8 wide, and then the overall thickness, we're gonna be sitting right at about 5/8 of an inch thick. Now, the distance between these mounting holes, let's see if I can line that up here for you, we're gonna be sitting right at about 3 1/4 inches, 3 1/4 inches there. Now again, the light output on this is gonna be 375 lumens, the input voltage is gonna be 9 volts to 14 volts, and the power draw is gonna be 0.27 to 0.33 amps. The wire here, as you can see, that wire is going to be 36 inches long, and this light does have a limited lifetime warranty. Now again, this light is gonna be white in color, if you're looking for a similar light with this plastic housing with the three diodes, but in a different color, we do have this available in blue, you can find that on our website, item number TN57RR.
