Bought the LED light kit to replace the incandescent lights that came with the trailer. I was constantly replacing bulbs on the old units. Also the incandescent bulbs would make the tow vehicle’s flashers hyper flash at times. The LED are much brighter and solved both issues

by:

All went well except the ground wire was short on the trailer harness, had to splice a piece in.
Manufacture should consider making it another 12-18 inches longer.

Working great!

by:

They work well and are a great value. LEDs are the way to go with trailer lighting.

by:

Green lights, super reliable, even dunking in saltwater on the regular. Only negative would be if you buy the set like this the configuration of lights is different than if you buy in singles for replacements the LEDs on the newer bulbs are a different shape pattern.

by:

Worked great, rewired jet ski trailer.

by:

Love the lights. I would give them five stars all day long. The wiring harness is a bit chintzy. More like 2.5 stars. It feels like if the manufacturer spent another .02 on it the quality would be better. If you paint your trailer, you need to grind away the paint beneath the ground wire, otherwise they will not work.

by:

Complete kit even comes with wire holder clips for trailer frame.

by:

The TLL9RK Optronics LED Combination Tail Light Kit fit my old 4 foot by seven foot utility trailer perfectly. The lights are much brighter than the OEM incandescent units. I used crimp connectors instead of those supplied in the kit. I like the plugs that came with the new wiring harness, as they appear to seal much better when the trailer is connected to the tow vehicle. I only wish the kit included a blanking seal for each plug to help keep them clean and dry when not connected, as they spend most of their time unplugged and open to the weather.

A great product, the light kit is working well after a year with no problems.

by:

My 2nd order from etrailer was as fast and easy as the first. I'm impressed and would shop here first

by:

I changed out all of my trailer lights to LED and they work great!

by:

I believe I must have received a returned product? It was missing hardware listed in the description. Luckily, I had some lock nuts that fit the mounting bolts of the lights and was able to successfully install the kit on my small trailer without having to make a trip to the hardware store or wait for etrailer to send out some replacements. I believe this was a “fluke” and if in need, I would certainly order a similar product again.

by:

Good option for LED lights. Easy to install and came with plenty of wire harness for an 5x8 trailer.

by:

Worked great,No issues

by:

they quick the first time they got wet!

I am sorry to hear that the lights are no longer working for you. They are meant to be submersible and should have been fine in water. Do you still have the lights? I can send you the warranty details for them.

@JennyN Thank you for your response, I do not have them anymore they sat around for a bit and just through them away. My customer was upset posted photos on Facebook I did make him happy same day he called me I had a better set of lights that we installed and got him on his way. John

The products are fine... the order processing and shipping were unbelievably fast... The one "downer" was that the lighting kit was put in the box without any additional packing/cushioning... the package split open and the contents of the kit were scattered among the tires... luckily, the lights/parts appear undamaged, as far as I can see... I have yet to install the kit and test it...

by:

When my 7 year old utility trailer lost it's lights, I looked for a solution. The package came quickly and was easy to install. It was a good idea to include the wiring kit along with the Lights because I installed the lights first and discovered that the problem wasn't solved. I then rewired the entire harness and it all works well. I would recommend one change - instead of the wire nuts, add a waterproof heat sealing connection - I soldered my wire connections using a heat shrink wrap. Also - waterproof tap in connections for the side running lights would be helpful.

by:

Works great however I didn't look close enough to the connection. I was hoping for 1 with 7blade connection and brake cable

by:

Always the best of quality and most complete package of trailer light replacements which is why I go to etrailer.com and am a repeat customer. These folks could write the book on how to give outstanding customer service and their people always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. This company is always a pleasure to do business with !!!!

by:

Easy to install. There was plenty of length of wire to make the connections. Work great and looks great. Thank you.

Everything is working with no issues. Extremely happy with the lights.

Adam personally looked at equipment I needed to answer my questions. I placed order on phone with him and it was packaged and processed and with shipping co. within hours. My installer said it was best choice so reaffirmed my selection. Gotta say the customer service and shipping guys were really moving and it was Memorial weekend. Can't imagine I'd use another company with such a great experience with this one. So far so good on the light kit, only submerged one day since installed but based off my installer and reviews I think I made the right choice. Will post updates if needed.

by:

Arrived when scheduled. Installation was easy and they seem to be built well. Bright in sunlight. We'll see how they hold up. Could have used a few more wire clips-had to reuse some of the old ones.

by:

This kit has all the parts needed to replace the old trailer lights. The hard part is removing the old, rusted bolts holding on the old lights.

by:

Rebuilt an old boat trailer. Had it powder coated and I needed a whole new light harness. This worked really well and looks good too.

by:

Looks great. Good buy. Would buy agai n.

by:

Seamless transaction and gorilla-with-a-crayon installation instructions. Simple and smooth... doesn't get better than that. Phooey, I even got to talk to a real-live-helpful person!. And the box arrived like magic on my porch like a package under the Christmas tree. Would I do it again.... I already did, with another order. And I'm talking to others about my good experience.

  • How Does the Submersible, Under 80" LED Trailer Light Kit part # TLL9RK Wire to Trailer
For the assemblies that come with the Submersible, Under 80" LED Trailer Light Kit part # TLL9RK that you referenced the white wires will need to be grounded, the brown wires will run to the running lights circuit, the green wire will run to the right stop/turn circuit and the yellow wire will run to the left stop/turn circuit. I attached a picture that has a standard trailer wiring diagram that should be helpful for you. The distance between the mounting studs is 2 inches.

  • Longer 4-Way Harness Recommendation to Go Along with TLL9RK Kit
The part # TLL9RK comes with a 25 foot long section of 4-way wiring. For an additional length of 10 feet of this wire with the correct connections you would want the part # HM48235. This will give you 35 feet of wire. For additional length you would want the part # HM47115 which will give you additional 4 feet.
