Replacement Key for Thule and SportRack Racks and Carriers - 2860

I wasted time and money on another two online sites for a 2860 replacement key for a used Sears cargo carrier I bought( at a good price but no key).

We have a sportrack vista my hubby lost the key for. After calling locksmiths in the area I hopped online to find etrailer and their replacement keys. Shipping took about a week. It worked great! We have the Sears SportsRack carrier and called Sears for additional keys. They could not provide the key since the carrier is not made anymore by the manufacturer. I went to 2 locksmiths who could not make the key easily since it's a unique design that requires both sides to be custom made.

Have a Craftsman roof top carrier that the keys had been lost too. Bought two keys from etrailer, worked wonderful. FYI - tried a local locksmith, he went through 7 blanks and still couldn't get a key to work properly.

This key, and this website for stocking said key, were both life savers. I bought a trailer clam shell storage container from a secondhand store, but it was locked and wasn't sold with any keys. But I typed in the number on the lock and boom, there it was, the replacement key.
I almost feel like the price may be a bit inflated for just the key, but it was exactly what I needed and I didn't find this key anywhere else.
