Replace a missing SportRack key with this equivalent part.I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.

Exactly as advertised. Arrived quickly and worked perfectly to replace the lost key on my SportRack.
Key was not what I order. Package and key do not match.

Did not work in my case. I confirmed the key code (Y002) on the lock cylinder before ordering and again after unsuccessfully attempting to use the key. There is no branding on the rack to verify whether it is a Sportrack, but I didn't have anything else to go by.
Shipping communication from etrailer was good; processing by the USPS was awful.
Delivered in about 2 weeks. Perfect fit for my SportRack ski rack. Would recommend to anyone who needs a replacement key.
the lock had 2006 on it the key had the same but it did not fit the lock (I wasted my money)
Fast delivery and cheap price, the key doesnt work for whatever reason, key number matches the number stamped on the lock so who knows, not e trailers fault

This is a low tech item (a key), but since I don't think Thule makes the same model bike rack anymore I was apprehensive that I would be unable to find a replacement key for the hitch mount. I was pleased that this key fits perfectly and now I can remove/remount the bike rack as necessary. BTW, I got my Thule bike rack from eTrailer and was very pleased.
They did a great job communicating and letting us know when it shipped, and making it easy for us to track during shipping.
I had a SEARS SPORT 20-SV (roof top cargo carrier )with lock numbers 2818 right above where you insert the key. I just added the letter (N) before the. So I ordered N2818 and it worked perfectly!! Two day shipping was right on time.
The key worked thats for the excellent service will tell my family and friends.
Worked for my 1989 VW GTI's roof rack. Very nice that you can still order older keys for older Thule units.

Poor customer service requested a key replace a few weeks ago never received it shipped out another never provided a tracking number for the 2nd one. Customer answered the phone didn’t bother to provide it either but you taken my money with no problem but yet no key. Terrible service and people skills I hope in the fitugff
The key really isn’t the problem the lock is jammed ip and I called the factory and said they won’t sell me a new lock I have to buy a whole new cargo box that’s why I’m leaving a bad review
Thank you for trying to supply a replacement key for my roof rack. Sorry to say that neither key that was sent worked in the SportRack.
I spoke to Thule. They indicated there are NO replacement keys for my particular roof racks. Not these. And NOT the other ones the next Customer Service Rep said would work.
I was pleased that I was able to find the key that I needed. (I couldn’t find it on the Thule or Sportrack web sites.). Shipping was fast and the key was a perfect fit.
I appreciate etrailer keeping these in stock when they were difficult to find from Thule. Good, prompt response.
Awesome service … the guidance online provided by eTrailer’s expert staff allowed us to quickly find the right OEM key for the Thule roof rack on our MINI Cooper.

It seems like the key did not work for you. I can help. Can you tell me if this was for a carrier or a rack, What is the number that is on the face of the lock.
