Optronics STL23 Series Miro-Flex Tail Light Diagram

Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

Recessed-Mount Light

Recessed mount light

Recessed-mount trailer lights install underneath a grommet (A45GB - sold separately). These lights will extend into the mounting surface and require that a hole be cut into your trailer.

purchased four lights to upgrade from the old bulb style. They have performed well without trouble except for one that has lost a couple of led lights - thought they should have lasted better than that but way ahead of what I was using.

by:

Received late last evening and everything in the package looks to be what we ordered. They will not be installed for most of 6 months as we are wintering in Florida. Service was very good. Pleased. Lights look good. Thank you.

by:

Fantastic Lights, will continue to order them. No confusion if they will run on 24v with the plain sticker on the back clearly labeling 12/24V. Different brand turn signal keeps getting water logged on same vehicle, this light has been rock solid! Thanks Jason V. for the 12v or 24v hint.

by:

These are good lights. Love (and require) that they run on 24 volts as well as 12. This is the only place I can find them, but they are a good price, with fast cheap shipping so I would get them here anyway. Thanks!

by:

Items are of good quality and arrived quickly. The correspondence from the retailer was good and I'll most likely purchase again

by:

Ordering was easy, found the info I needed on these lights on the etrailer site from a prior question someone else had asked. The tech info available on the etrailer website is the best.

by:

Excellent pricing much better than the dealer for the same thing. Good customer service

by:

Good light. Used in ElDorado National bus, which uses 24 volt lights. This was about the only place I could find them. Thanks!!!

Very satisfied

  • Installing Trailer Wiring on a 24V System of a Military Hummer --1987 M998 hmmwv
I've attached an article as well as a photo to assist, but you will need to add a step down converter between your light functions, and add a 24V relay between the cold side of your brake light switch for your brake controller if you will be using electric brakes on the trailer. There isn't an easy wiring harness with this converter already installed, so I recommend you use the Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector - 60" Wire Lead # C58044 (you will need to get...

  • Replacement Tail Light Recommendation for a 2006 Damon Trailer
All I really can say is that based on the measurements a previous customer of ours submitted about the tail lights that are on their 2006 Damon trailer the closest replacement we can offer is the Miro-Flex LED Trailer Stop/Turn/Tail Light # STL23R24B. It measures 4 inches in diameter and 1-15/16 inches deep. To install this light, you would also need Rubber Grommet for 4 inch Round Trailer Tail Lights, # A45GB, and Straight 3-Wire Pigtail for Sealed Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Lights,...

  • How to Get LED Lamp # STL23R24B into # A45GB Grommet
I went out to the warehouse and pulled both the lamp you mentioned, part # STL23R24B and the grommet, # A45GB. As you can see in the short video we produced for you, the parts do indeed fit together. The fit is kind of tight, and you will need to start the lamp into the grommet and then work your way around stretching the grommet into place around the lamp. Soaking the grommet in hot water for a few minutes will soften it a bit and make it more pliable. You can also try lubricating the...

  • Availability of 24-Volt Tail Lights for Lowboy Trailer
We do have some trailer tail lights designed to work on a 24-volt system. I recommend using light # STL23R24B. There are a few ways to mount this light. You can use a grommet and flush mount it in a 4-1/2 inch cutout using # A45GB. Or you can surface mount it with a bracket, # BK45BB. You will also use a wiring harness, # A47PB. These parts only come in red.

  • LED Taillight Recommendation for a 1968 Heilite Trailer
We have exactly what you need, but the # 294-0967 is for tow bar lighting for vehicles that are getting flat towed so it wouldn't be a good choice for you. For a similar light to what you have on your trailer that would be LED I would recommend the # STL23R24B. For a wiring harness you would want the # A45PB. For a mounting flange you would want the # A45BB.

  • Can the Optronics Sealed, Miro-Flex Trailer Clearance Trailer Light Be Used as a Brake Light
The 3 diodes in the Miro-flex light, # MCL51RB, would not make a very good brake light. They would not be as bright as the regular brake lights already on the trailer. You would need a light designed to function in whole or in part as a brake light such as # STL23R24B. With this light you would also need a wiring harness, # A47PB. • Can a Bus with a 24 Volt Electrical System Tow a Trailer and Car with 12 Volt Electrical Systems
On the trailer it will be easy because you can add 24 volt lights such as # STL23R24B and # MCL66A24B just to name a few. But to flat tow a vehicle that is a different story. You would need to obtain a voltage reducer device and put one on each circuit ahead of the trailer connector so that it is 12 volts on the output side. We do not carry these devices and from what I know they can be expensive. If you go this route then the trailer would not have to have 24 volt lights.
