Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Replacement Air Filter. This is a 13 1/2 inch long by 6 inch wide replacement air filter that's going to replace your current air filter in your Coleman Mach RV air conditioning system. This can also work for other AC systems that have a matching filter dimensions, and this is gonna be compatible with both ducted and ductless AC systems. So the purpose of the filter, it's gonna do a great job collecting your pollen, dust, mold spores, and pet dander to a keep that out of the air, so that you can have a better air quality that you're breathing in as you're going down the roads, it's gonna make it cleaner and more healthy to breathe in. This does have a non-woven polyester construction, so it's going to do a great job of capturing those microscopic particles within this sticky tackifier.
It is MERV-6 rated to capture harmful pollutants and allergens from 3 to 10 microns, so it's gonna do a really good job for you making sure that air is nice and clean. It's very, very easy to get this installed, you just wanna make sure that the green side is facing up. Take your original off, put this one in its place, and you're ready to go. They do recommend that you switch out your filter after 90 days of continuous use or about once a year for occasional use. So depending on how frequently you're in your RV, this can be a pretty nice thing to have on hand to switch out depending on when you need to.
But if it is time to switch it out, this is gonna be a really great option for you, it is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. And it's important to note that this is a single use filter, so don't try and wash it and reuse it, that exposure to water is gonna cause the construction to kinda deteriorate, so make sure that if it is time to change out your filter, you're getting new one instead, it'll do a good job for you. The product shipped quickly, arrived in good condition, and fit perfectly. The packaging indicated that the filter should not be washed and should be replaced after 90 consecutive days of use--not what I had been told, so was pleased this info was provided.
