Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Vehicle Suspension - Lift Spacers - F2373

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the five inch lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs. Now, these spacers will allow your air springs to be installed on vehicles that have a five inch lift. It will include everything shown here on the table, the two spacers, the eight volts, and the eight lock washers. Now, the spacers themself are a heavy duty steel construction. They are designed to fit air springs that mount to the axle.

And these spacers attach between the bottom of the lower bracket and the bottom of the spring. The distance between the upper and lower brackets must be between 10-1/2 and 11-1/2 inches. The safe spacer must be the same size as your lift kit rise. As we mentioned, includes the two lift spacers, all the hardware necessary for installation. Now, these will not fit the Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286.

They will fit the Ride-Rite model F2286 as long as it's manufactured after February 1st, 2006. But that should do it for the review on the five inch lift spacers for your Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs.

Put a 6 inch Super lift on my Chevy Silverado. Since my airbags were mounted to the frame and axle, I needed these blocks. They were easy to install and got the job done.

  • Air Bag Helper Spring Lift Spacers For Firestone Ride-Rite Springs On a Lifted 2002 Ford F-250
Yes, for installing the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 on your 6" lifted 2002 Ford F-250 you will only need a lift spacer. You will need to verify the amount of rear lift on your truck as often a 6" lift will have a front 6" lift and rear 4" to level the truck. Firestone offers their lift spacers in the following sizes. 1-1/4" Spacers # F2536 2" Spacers # F2366 3" Spacers # F2367 4" Spacers # F2370 5" Spacers # F2373 6" Spacers # F2374 I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessAIR...

  • Air Bag Helper Springs for a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 6 Inch Lift
Does your 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 have a 6 inch lift or is it the 6 foot bed? I ask because Air Lift kit # AL88204 only fits short bed models so if your truck has the 8 foot bed you would need to look at other options. Lift kits are interesting because you could have a 6 inch lift kit but the actual increase in height between the frame and axle might be less than 6 inches. This is important when picking out kits and available spacers. Air Lift's tallest spacer is 4 inches, # AL52440....

The correct spacer to use with the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2355 on your 2007 Nissan Titan will be the one that matches the actual lift that the kit you installed provided. If you have an actual 6" lift in the rear then the correct spacer for you is the Lift Spacer for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2374. However, lift kit manufacturers often overstate the actual lift so more than likely you will be looking at either part # F2370 or part # F2373. I...

  • Using Firestone Air Bags on a 2000 Ford Excursion 4x4 with a 6 Inch Lift
Firestone makes a spacer kit for vehicles with a 6 inch lift. It is # F2375. To determine if this kit will fit measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets of the air bag kit. It that distance is 11-1/2 to 12-1/2 inches then the 6 inch spacer kit will work for you. If you get a different measurement let me know what it is and I can make other recommendations. Using a spacer kit will require some longer hardware in most applications. Longer hardware will need to be obtained locally.

  • Can Firestone Ride Rite Suspension Kit # F2535 Be Used on Truck with 5 inch Lift
The Ready Lift blocks are suspension lifts which add distance between the axle and the frame of the truck so to use the Firestone Ride Rite kit part # F2535 you'll need to also use the spacer block kit part # F2373 and you'll be set. This will take up the additional space and will allow the kit to perform like it should.

  • Are Spacers Needed on Lifted Truck with Firestone Ride Rite Air Helper Springs
To determine what size lift spacer to use on your vehicle with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs, measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets of your air helper spring kit. On the rear, if the distance between the brackets is 8.5" to 9.5" it would be a 3" lift. You will need the Firestone Lift Spacers for 3" Lift, part # F2368. If the distance between...
