Firestone Ride Rite System Recommendation for a 2012 Chevy Silverado with 5 inch Lift
Question:
I have a 2012 Silverado 1500 with the Firestone Ride Rite system...I also have a 5 inch lift with air bag spacers...my only problem is the lower bracket is so small, half of the spacer hangs off the lower bracket...the bracket with this kit looks much larger meaning it extends further towards the rear end housing...my question is, will these lower brackets fit the 2012 1500 and are they even available by themselves? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The correct Firestone Ride Rite System for your 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 is the part # F2430 that you referenced. As long as you have everything installed correctly and your 5 inch lift was done properly this system with the 5 inch spacer part # F2373 should work well for you.
The part # F2250 is designed for older model Silverados so it would not work.
