Today we're going to take a look at the half inch by twenty chrome plated steel acorn trailer wheel lug nut. This lug nut is designed to fit half inch diameter wheel studs. Does use the normal right hand thread, twenty threads per inch. Do you notice that the bottom of the lug nut it does have the standard 60 degree taper, which is made to fit the 60 degree taper on the lug hole of the wheel. This one is made of a heat treated steel, which is very sturdy and durable. They have a chrome plated finish on this which is corrosion resistant.
The head size of this lug nut is 13/16 of an inch. Happen to pull a 13/16 socket here and you can see it fits right in there perfectly. This part is for a quantity of 1 lug nut. The overall length of this lug nut is a little bit taller than your normal lug nuts. Overall length on this one is going to be right at one and half inches long.

The stainless clad lug nuts twisted and I had to have a tow truck come and cut the cladding off. $200. Andrea found solid lug nuts to replace the terrible clad ones. She gave me her phone number so I could contact her. Most companies don’t allow that. etrailer is great too.
Exactly what I needed to replace the poor-quality chrome shroud lug nuts on my travel trailer. Had one of the shrouds strip and spin on the lug.... These are one-piece solid material lugs. Fit perfectly. Replaced all 24 on the travel trailer with these.
After I replaced our rusted white wheel rims for nice shiny chrome rims, I forgot that with new rims especially, you need to keep the lug nut torque checked. As a consequence, we lost a wheel which sheared off all of the lug nuts. The etrailer price on the whole hub assembly was reasonable enough, that I decided to replace the entire hub. It has been perfect during a trip from mi. through several thousand miles of touring Utah and other smaller trips this year. It has been on over a year now and has not had a single problem. I carry a torque wrench in the 5ver storage compartment and check the torque frequently.
Product was received well packed and in a timely manner. The lug nuts and chrome center caps finished off the look of the wheels and tires that were also purchased through etrailer.

I bought these lug nuts to replace the original ones on my travel trailer which had become pitted and rusted and hard to keep polished. These look and fit great and also are designed as to be easier to clean and polish with less grooves and steps to catch salt and dirt. Good replacement product.
