Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at these Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails. Now, these base rails are going to provide you the necessary attachment points for your fifth wheel hitch installation, and when they are used with the Curt custom brackets, these rails are going to cut in half the time it takes to install your fifth wheel trailer hitch. Now, they will also function as replacement rails for your existing towing system, and you're going to receive what you see here in front of me, two base rails, and it is important to note that the brackets, the hardware, and the installation kit are sold separately, and these rails are going to be compatible with not only Curt, but also Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese, Valley, and Husky hitches. They feature this dark gray teridium finish to protect them from corrosion, scratches, and UV damage, that's gonna give them the tough skin that they need for hauling your RV trailer, your flatbed, or other heavy-duty trailers.
