2019 Nissan Versa
Love it! Had a local shop do the installation on my 2019 Nissan Versa, then wired the harness myself. I've hauled my KTM 500 and my BMW R1200GSA together without issue on my CarryOn 5x8 utility trailer. Sometimes I also haul my Kayak set up with one motorcycle to self porter 10 to 20mi river floats.

2009 Nissan Titan
Hello to all,
Please refer to pic attached. Just two items I would like to point out for your folks...just FYI. First, the carriage bolt (1/2-13 x 1 3/4) that is provided for (CM-SP4) .250 x 1.50 x 3.00" Square Hole Spacer) is too short? Short by at least 1", had to purchase a longer (2 1/2") after-market carriage bolt from HomeDepot to complete the installation. Second, the hitch receiver is NOT quite as flush up against the bumper as shown per your site's video? Would have preferred it be much more flushed, and this is for my vehicle 2017 Versa, just one year later than the one again on the video.
The receiver hitch is to be used for bike rack & cargo carrier.

Purchased so I can mount a bike rack and cargo carrier to my Versa. I like the way this mount fits the car and it looks good. Installation was easy and the supplied instructions were spot on. I also watched the video from the website, which was also spot on. Great product, great company, fair price.

2017 Nissan Versa
Easy to install, used an angle grinder and a Dremel tool. The center bolt was not long enough, so I went and bought a 3" bolt. No big deal though, it was like $3 at the hardware store. Works as expected and very reasonably priced.

Ordering and shipping were easy and very prompt service. The web site video and instructions included were pretty good. I would recommend the installer hold up the hitch to the frame and check the position of the holes on each side of the frame to the hitch. The off set middle bolt has only one position that isn't adjustable and you need to have it in place and check the other holes in the frame. On the drivers side my hitch hole was 1/2 inch forward of the hole in the frame. This turned out ok as I just elongated the frame hole to a position that accommodated the hitch and widened the hole to accommodate the carriage bolt installation and things worked out fine. I jacked up the passenger side of the car and blocked it on that side 11 inches high (under the spring) and that provided enough room to work under the car for the whole installation. Jacked it up with the cars jack with a 4x4 wooden block under the jack. It took me 3 hours to install the hitch with most of the time grinding out the holes in the car frame. The drawing of the installation in the instructions was most helpful. I haven't tackled the wiring kit installation yet but the option I bought included almost everything but a few splice connectors for the wire from the control unit up to the battery. I also bought their stinger with a 7/8 ball and it gets the ball up to about the middle of the bumper and about 6 inches away from the bumper which I thought was good.

2015 Nissan Versa
Overall this has been a great hitch for the past 1 year. I use this hitch to attach a hitch bicycle rack to my car. I recall it taking an hour or two to install. For my car (Nissan Versa), I had to grind out part of the frame to fit the larger size bolts. This was a pain, but since there has been no problems. The hitch has a low profile and is hard to see when looking at the car from behind, which is great. Although, since it is so hidden and tucked away, my bike rack sits 2-3 inches closer to the car than my other vehicle. This makes getting stuff in and out of the trunk more difficult.

2015 Nissan Versa
Having been satisfied with numerous purchases from eTrailer in the past, I decided to purchase the Curt hitch and wiring kit for my 2015 Nissan Versa. The price was less than the local sellers and shipping was free. When the hitch arrived, it was well packed in a way that would make damage to the hitch very difficult—plenty of space and packing around the hitch to allow for rough handling. The hitch itself appears very heavy duty, maybe even too heavy duty for my intended use of towing a small boat. The bends were clean, the welds appear solid and professional, and the coating almost appeared like powder coating, but it's high gloss black paint. The Curt wiring kit appeared to be solid and well made. Because I moved recently, all of my tools were in storage so I had the hitch installed by a local U Haul franchise. It took them one hour to install the hitch and plug-in wiring kit. The Nissan Versa is not made for a hitch, but the Curt hitch is certainly made for the Nissan Versa. The fit is clean and up out of the way. In fact, you have to get down low to see it at all. Ground clearance is not an issue. The hitch appears factory, if the factory offered a hitch. The 4 ½ rise Curt drawbar fits perfectly, following the curve of the back of the car and also appears factory. The U Haul installer asked if eTrailer recommended that drawbar because it looks as if it was made for this make and model. The connector for the wiring kit remains inside the trunk when not in use. Although I did not expect that, I can see how this is a plus—there is no chance of it being damaged by hanging outside the car when not in use. When you need to use it, you merely run it to the trailer plug and close the trunk lid on the wire. The U Haul installer mentioned that they buy parts from eTrailer all the time to replenish their stock. As I looked around the shop, I could see a lot of Curt hitches and wiring kits, among other things. All in all, I am very impressed with the quality and fit of the Curt hitch, and the price of the hitch with installation is a bonus. I would definitely recommend this this hitch and wiring kit even at a higher price.

2020 Nissan Versa
The Curt Hitch fits the 2020 Versa perfectly - actually even better than it fit the 2012-2019 Versas.
Only etrailer took the time to verify that the hitch would fit the 2020 Versa, from two sources no less! Now that's real service.
What's funny is that the etrailer video was worst case. It actually is far easier to install this hitch. The muffler did not need to be removed at all, just one inch of the heat shield. Sweet.
After buying from etrailer, you will have great confidence in your ability to install the hitch by yourself; even if it is nice to have another person hold up the other end. You don't need to lift the card.

2015 Nissan Versa
This is not a bolt on receiver kit you have to have a decent amount of skill to drill out your frame uninstall the receiver also you need to be experienced in interior of a car because you have to take your interior out to put the trailer light system in since it's low voltage in these new cars you have to ran a hot wire directly from the battery to the converter in the trunk just be aware of this I would not recommend running the wire underneath your car

1 year later, still a solid hitch with no complaints at all. Have used it to haul a small trailer, with a bicycle carrier and cargo carrier. Highly recommended.

Was an easy install considering a trailer receiver never came on a versa stock. Quality seems to be very good and have hauled multiple trailers and has done great. No complaints here on this item.

Haven't used it yet, but it looks good on the car. It fits nicely and doesn't stick out. I am 70 years old, but handled the installation myself, although it took me about 3 hours from start to finish.

2018 Nissan Versa
Installation require alteration of tow hook on the car because the hitch did not fit flush at that point . Final fit is just like your video.

Unfortunately, we do not carry a hitch for your 2021 model. Instead, you could use a trunk bike rack line the Saris Bones EX 2 # SAR83FR or the Yakima Fullback # Y02633. You could also add a roof rack and carry cargo or bikes on your roof.

I also bought the 1-7/8 and 2 inch ballstinger. The 2 inch stinger could be a little longer.
