What is a Drawbar and Why Would I Need One?
Question:
The description for the hitch says that the drawbar is not included. What is a drawbar and why would I need one? Thanks, Pete

The hitch drawbar or ball mount is the part that slides into the hitch receiver that has the trailer ball bolted to it. You'll need the ball mount if you plan on towing, but if you're only using the hitch as a mount for a hitch mounted accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier, you won't need it.
If you need a ball mount that's compatible with the Curt Class I hitch, part # C11256, I'd recommend # 3592. For 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, use # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball. For a trailer wiring harness, use # C56400.
