Works like it should. No issues at all.

The hinged jaw on my collared coupler was not springing open as it should after a year outside, so I figured the spring was rusted and/or worn. I called the trailer/hardware store where I purchased my trailer and they told me I had to buy their $40 coupler repair kit. Luckily for me, etrailer had the spring for under $3. I usually store my Anderson hitch drawbar in the coupler. I had a Bulldog installed on my Airstream (well worth the $500 it cost). I use this lock when among friends to prevent them from dropping the Anderson on a foot if they are curious about the Bulldog. This lock would not deter a thief.1332296

I know this is a small part, but it makes a big difference when your trailer has it missing. My hitch now pops open as it should when I slide the collar back, and I no longer have to keep track of a screwdriver or pry bar to pop my hitch open. It has greatly simplified the process of dropping my trailer.600854

I damaged the spring moving the trailer with a tractor.
I didn't even think i could get one but etrailer had it.

Stow and tow 7 inch drop/7.5 inch rise hitch arrived last night. It is an excellent piece of gear and is very stout. I hooked it up to our 27' Charmac and it worked very well.

It is very easy to adjust the desired height. I wish that I'd gotten one years ago.

The spring I needed for a Bulldog Collar lock hitch came in the same shipment and was a cinch to install and it works like it did when it was new. It pops right open when the collar is moved back.

I have been extremely please with the customer service and attention to detail fro Etrailer.com and will continue to use them.

They also honored their low price guarantee when I recently purchased a gooseneck hitch.

A local trailer retailer and repair business wanted to replace the collar rather than try to replace this spring. I ordered this spring and replaced it myself and saved at least $150. It is still working great!! Thanks to etrailer!387663

The hitch repair kit fit perfectly. The spring is another issue.The coupler jaw opened up to far to hold the spring. I used JB Weld to hold the spring in place. I also reduced the opening a small amount with some epoxy. I assume the stop wears over time.

Wasn’t as shiny as on the webpage and had a little rust showing on it in the bag but I know it will get very rusty once put on the trailer hitch. Thought the shipping cost was pretty high ($4.99) for and $8 spring that came in a small envelope.1216445
