Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a real quick look at this Valterra replacement cap and strap. This is going to replace a broken or damaged tethered cap for your Valterra gravity fill fresh water inlet. This cap is protects your gravity fill inlet and freshwater tank. And on your screen, I am including all the model numbers of those gravity fill freshwater inlets from Valterra that this is going to fit. And this, of course, screws into place to keep your tank sealed.
And this tether is going to keep the cap attached to the inlet so you don't lose it. And this is of a white plastic construction. Very simple replacement for the original cap. I bought the camper used and the tether was broken off the cap. I needed to use a plier to remove the nub of the original tether. The new tether plugged right in. I will no longer be looking for a place to put the cap while I am filling!

It's a cap. It works. Added some gorilla glue to the tab to keep it from falling off as the tab insert hole was too wide.

- Replacement Water Inlet Cap with Gasket Or SealI'm not sure of the exact reason why some of these don't have gaskets and I'm not aware of any reason why they don't include them; none of the caps we carry come with an actual gasket but there are some options that provide a better seal than others. I recommend checking out the Replacement RV Gravity Fill Spout with Plastic Cap - Black # 372222-224BK-A, which doesn't have a gasket but does create a seal on your spout using screw in fittings that will keep debris and outside water from...
