Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR Products metal window crank, with one inch long shaft. This is going to replace the current metal window crank on your RV's windows to help you get those windows open so you can get some fresh air, and close them if you need to if a storm is blowing in, or something. It is going to replace your current crank, whether that has worn out or has been damaged, this is going to help meet that need.It is made out of the metal alloy, so it's very solid. It's got the threading on the inside to grip onto your window units, so it can give you that sturdy control as you're turning the crank. Now this is advertised as a one inch long shaft, however my measurement comes out to a little bit closer to 13/16th in actual measurement.
The included screw, the placement screw, is going to help you get it installed, sits right about 7/8 of an inch. And the total length for our crank is right about two inches. So you want to be sure you've got at least two inches to work with of clearance so that you can turn this and you're not going to be knocking into your window seal, or anything like that.This is made here in the USA, and it comes with a lifetime warranty from JR Products. That's going to complete our look at the JR Products metal window crank with one inch long shaft.
