Ratcheting tie-down straps let you secure heavy cargo in your truck bed or trailer. Molded bar handle makes it easy to tighten down the straps. Double-J hooks provide a strong connection to anchor points. 4,000 lbs Max load.

Specs:
Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Speaker 1: inaudible 00:00:00. Speaker 2: Today we're taking a look at the ProGrip Ratchet Tie Down Straps. These tie-down straps let you secure cargo in your truck bed or trailer. The ratcheting mechanism makes it very easy to tighten the strap and maintain tension on the strap. So basically what you need to do is you need to place the strap around or over your load, connect the hooks to really good, secure anchor points. Pull any slack that you have out of the strap.
You can do that by hand. And then you use the ratchet handle right here to operate the ratcheting mechanism and to finish tightening the strap over or around your load. The large handle is a really nice design. It's easy to grab onto. It's comfortable to use. It does have the plastic-coated pieces on it, so we have finger indentions right here, as well as indentions on the release lever.
So that makes tightening and releasing tension very easy and comfortable with this unit. The hooks are made from steel. They're protected with a zinc coating to keep them safe from rust and corrosion. And the double-J hook design is very strong and very durable. Now each strap measures 15 feet long by an inch and a half wide. Each strap has a safe working low limit of 1,333 pounds, with a maximum load or break strength of 4,000 pounds. When you're ready to release the tension, it's really easy to do. You just pull on this release lever right here, open the ratchet mechanism to the fully open position.
It's almost like it's laying flat. Pull on the end with the hook, and that would allow you to release tension, and that's also how you could release, remove the strap completely from the ratcheting mechanism, if you wanna do so.A question that we often get is, how do you assemble everything together with these And it's really easy to do. So when you get it, you're gonna get your strap and your ratcheting mechanism separate. And so I do wanna show you how to assemble the two pieces together. It's really quick and easy to do.
So what I like to do is take the ratcheting mechanism. You'll notice that it has this center bar here, and then it has a slit that goes through that. I like to take this from the back side of the ratchet mechanism, place the strap through that slit, and then just bring it over the top bar. And that's all there is to it. That's how you install the strap in the ratcheting mechanism. You pull out the slack that you may have, and then you use the nice, large ratcheting handle to tighten the strap. That's gonna do it for today's look at the ProGrip Ratchet Tie Down Straps.
