Hidden Cross Tube for a Clean, Factory Look

The EcoHitch Hidden trailer hitch is designed to be as inconspicuous as possible. The hitch's cross tube bolts onto your vehicle's frame, behind your rear bumper. No drilling or welding is required. Once the hitch is installed, only the receiver will be visible beneath your bumper. This means that your vehicle can maintain its stylish, from-the-factory look, and you won't have to do any major modifications to its body or frame.

Eco-Friendly Material

With a combination of aerospace-grade aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, each EcoHitch is made of a strong metal alloy that will withstand the test of time. The lightweight alloy is composed of recycled materials. Traditional steel hitch manufacturing can use coal or oil, which can contribute to harmful gas emissions. The EcoHitch's recycled materials limit the carbon footprint during manufacturing, so you get a sturdy trailer hitch while also helping the environment.

Rigorous Strength Testing Ensures Durability

This EcoHitch trailer hitch is tested for durability and sturdiness. Using Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA), individual points of stress on the hitch can be detected and remedied. Designers can accurately test the hitch to ensure that it will meet or exceed SAE J684 standards. The EcoHitch Hidden trailer hitch is carefully researched and strength tested for a durable, high-quality hitch that can resist damage while on the road.

We had the hitch professionally installed. We are getting some vibration from the exhaust system. We've used a section of pool noodle as a buffer, and replace it periodically. We took the bikes 1000 miles to Georgia without incident over winter.

Good Heavy duty product. I think $250 would be more inline for what you get.

Great product, vey easy to install. The only issue was that the spacing between the tab was too short. I noticed one of the tabs was slightly bowed (probably because of the welding). I had to use my hammer to straighten it and problem solved. But some of the paint chipped, so I have to touch the paint.

We had ours installed by a professional- he recommended this hitch. Works well.

  • Trailer Hitch With 2 Inch Receiver For 2013 Toyota Prius c
Yep, you sure can; there is only one trailer hitch made for your 2013 Toyota Prius c that has a 2 inch receiver, which is made by EcoHitch and is the following part number: - EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7194

  • Wrench Size Needed to Install EcoHitch 306-X7194
I checked the install instructions of the EcoHitch part # 306-X7194 that you mentioned and the size of wrench you'd need for the 3/8 inch bolts is 9/16 inch.

  • Recommended Hitch for a 2014 Prius C
The best hitch for a 2014 Prius C, is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch item # 306-X7194. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Prius with included hardware. This is a 2" hitch which will work with the most bike racks on the market due to its receiver size and weight capacity. It installs behind your rear bumper cover which not only looks better but it also helps with ground clearance because it doesn't hang low. I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation...

  • Can I Safely Install the EcoHitch on a 2013 Toyota Prius c
We've had several different years of models of the Prius where we've installed hitches like the EcoHitch # 306-X7194 and there are no safety concerns, especially when being used to a bike rack. For these reasons, I'm not really sure their concerns are valid and likely stem from the fact that this isn't a vehicle that would typically have a hitch installed on it. With that said, the EcoHitch is what I would recommend since it provides you with a 2" hitch receiver and provides you with the...

  • Willthe Yakima Ridgeback 5 Bike Work with my 2016 Toyota Prius C and the 2 Eco Hitch
The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7194 as you said has a 300 lb. tongue weight limit and a 2" receiver tube opening. With that in mind the Yakima RidgeBack 5 Bike Rack part # Y02459 will work out well. It weighs around 42 lbs. so you will be limited to carrying 158 lbs. of bikes at max. if your 2016 Prius C is rated for that. You want to ensure not to exceed the 300 lbs. tongue weight capacity of your hitch or the maximin tongue weight limit of your Prius which can...

  • Recommended 4-Bike Platform Rack for 2016 Toyota Prius
The Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack part # HR4000 is one of the best four-bike platform style racks available because it's super lightweight at only 42 lbs and it will accommodate pretty much any type of bike frame. It also has a lock for security. Please note, in order to carry four bikes on a 2016 Toyota Prius you'll need to use the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7192 (V Models) or part # 306-X7194 (C Models).

  • 2014 Toyota Prius c Compatibility with the Kuat Transfer V2 3-Bike Rack
As long as you have a 2" hitch receiver on your 2014 Toyota Prius c, like the EcoHitch # 306-X7194, you'll be just fine using the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 3 Bikes # KU24FR. The other hitches for your Prius c are rated for a Class I application so I would only stick with this in the 3-bike configuration and avoid using the add-on to convert this into the 4-bike carrier. Attached are review videos for both the EcoHitch and the Transfer V2 bike rack.

  • How Do You Recommend That I Carry Two Bikes On My 2014 Toyota Prius C
I have a couple of options that will work for you. The safest way to carry two bikes on your 2014 Prius C, and my recommendation, is by hitch bike rack. This will require you to get a hitch receiver installed, but the rack will be bolted into your hitch receiver and not strapped to your vehicle. The hitch receiver that I recommend is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2", part # 306-X7194. It has a maximum tongue weight of 300 lbs and a maximum gross trailer weight...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Vehicle Wiring Harness For a 2013 Toyota Prius C?
I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7194 for your 2013 Toyota Prius C. The Curt # C11276 you found will not fit your particular Prius C. The EcoHitch has the larger 2" receiver allowing for a much larger selection of hitch mounted accessories. It is best to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56275 when you install the receiver. This will give you a 4-way flat connector. This is the most common connector used on small trailers you might tow....

  • Recommended Bike Rack For a 2016 Toyota Prius c For Carrying a Bulls Lacuba E-Bike With Fenders
I recommend using the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack # Y36FR with the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7194 on your 2016 Toyota Prius c. The OnRamp is capable of supporting bikes with a weight up to 66lbs. It is capable of supporting 2 bikes as you need a rack that uses a frame mount. Your Bulls Lucha e-bike has fenders that will not work on a single bike bike rack that clamps the bike in place by the wheels and tires. The OnRamp also includes a 51" ramp that will make loading your...

  • Recommended Bike Rack and Hitch for a 2014 Toyota Prius C w/ a 55 lbs E-Bike
I would be happy to set up your Prius C with a hitch to transport a bike rack. Keeping cost in mind you are going to want to go with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C11484. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Prius with included hardware. This is a class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. The Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes item # SA4412B you were looking at only has a 35 lbs capacity when used with a class I hitch. If you are wanting to use this bike rack with...

  • Recommended Lightweight Bike Rack for a 2013 Toyota Prius C and Womens Bikes
The Thule Roadway 2 Bike Rack # TH9058 weighs in at 28 lbs. If your bikes have smaller frames then you would likely need an adapter bar like the Thule # TH982XT otherwise your bikes will likely sit at a weird angle which not only makes it awkward to load, but it will also reduce ground clearance (see attached with the bar installed). If you can send me some pictures of your bikes I can get a better idea as to if you'd probably need an adapter bar or not. If you don't already have a trailer...

  • Recommended Ball Mounts Compatible with 2" EcoHitch Hidden Receiver # 306-X7194 On a 2015 Prius c
The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7194 for your 2015 Toyota Prius c has a 2" receiver that we measured to have a hitch height of 11-1/2". With this you can use either a fixed ball mount like the Curt # C45100 that has a 6" rise which would fit on a trailer with a hitch height near 15-1/2". You will need either a 1-7/8" # C40002 or 2" # 40038 ball. If you intend to pull different trailers that can have different hitch heights an Adjustable Ball Mount # BWTS10038B will allow...
